Effects of Mixes of Peat with Different Rates of Spruce, Pine Fibers, or Perlite on the Growth of Blueberry Saplings

Investigations of substrates for growing plant saplings is the basis search new components. Currently, large numbers are grown blueberry plantations. Studies on use various organic and inorganic components in relevant order to reduce amount excavated peat. The goal this study was analyze effects mixes peat with different rates spruce, pine fibers perlite growth saplings. To define suitability substrates, vigor assessments cultivar ‘Duke’, including height leaf weight, as well chlorophyll fluorescence, content extractable macronutrients carbon leaves, were investigated. best effect saplings, optimal shown which a part replaced by 15–45% v/v wood fiber 15–30% spruce fiber. Pine bark mix should not exceed 30% v/v. addition had negative vegetative quantity can also be significantly reduced adding perlite.
